Our History

Here, we are dedicated to creating educational policies, research, curricula and pedagogies that support the attainment of a peaceful, just, and sustainable world.
As individual educators from all over the world, we join together in this person-to-person, non-governmental, nonprofit global organization committed to active participation in efforts to achieve the purposes of the organization. As educators in the world community, we have responsibility to ensure that education contributes to the promotion of equity, peace, and the universal realization of human rights. To this end, all curricular and instructional programs should strive to facilitate in every person the development of (1) a comprehensive sense of respect - of self, others, and the environment and (2) the capacity to participate at all levels of world society from local to global. As individuals, we commit ourselves to strive toward these ideals and fulfill the purposes of the organization within our professional responsibilities and in our organizational relationship
